APRI (A. Philip Randolph Institute) Metro NYC Chapter is an advocacy organization in New York City focusing on worker rights, civil rights, and community empowerment. Led by President Anthony Reid, the chapter supports various social justice, labor, and political initiatives within the metropolitan area.
Our Mission
The (APRI) Metro NYC Chapter is a constituency group of the AFL-CIO focused on fighting for social, political, and economic justice for working-class Americans, particularly within the Black community. They emphasize voter registration, education, and strengthening the intersection of labor unions and civil rights.
